Kind of off-topic, but second your dislike of iOS. I got an iPad at some point but after about an hour decided I was returning it: That device was so “locked-down”, I couldn’t stand it.

I really love my iMac tho (haven’t booted into Windows in months). 🤷‍♂️

I find Kiwi Browser essential. It’s one of the only ones that you can install chrome extensions onto.

I love the smell of updates in the morning.

Is she looking for an “official” app–not realizing there isn’t such a thing? That they all have different names and are so new that they all have different levels of functionality?

And that Lemmy.world is so slammed with new users that most of the apps don’t seem to be working properly? ☺️
