  • From what I heard, the show took a couple more episodes after episode 4 where you dropped it to really start clicking.

That’s waaaaay too long in today’s competitive anime environment to hold on to viewers.

p.s. I disliked episode 1 so much that I never went back. Again, there’s too much else to watch that won’t waste my time.

  • Woof, the holidays are upon us, and it’s unusually busy at work too, for this time of year.

That doesn’t leave me much time for watching anime, as opposed to keeping up with real life.

I’m really happy that some fellow anime-loving lemmings have stepped up to post in a good chunk of the episode threads for shows that I follow!

One show that I’m surprised doesn’t have more visible support here is Let This Grieving Soul Retire/Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai

Not that I actually have watched any of it, but some random comments from users here say they watch it and it’s decent-to-good.

For me, it got lost in the seasonal deluge of isekais with long names, so I never bothered to try a single episode, and at this point with my own neglected watching queue, I really don’t plan to start.

  • And we also know that the principal, being a regalia holder, was able to sense that the Orb was in town, so why did she lie to Veltol, saying that the Orb was lost?

Adopting Hizuki would mean a merger between the clans and would be a way for her to own 2 of the 3 regalia.

Principal is definitely the most sus person we’ve met so far.

    Goblin guy was cool.

His story brings to mind the Japanese tradition of adopted sons taking over the clan.

Sometimes a Japanese lord would adopt the most talented of his non-blood relation underlings as their son, which made them part of the family.

The newly adopted son would take on the family name, with all the rights and privileges of a natural born son, including the right to inherit the clan lordship.

This ensured that the clan would have competent leadership, as opposed to the unreliable quality of genetic offspring.

See Elusive Samurai to see how relying on the latter turned out (not good).
