I have plenty of reasons to dislike and distrust organized religion, but you have to recognize that there are progressive Christians who don’t use their faith to oppress people. There are some Christians who take the “love one another” thing seriously and don’t suck.

He does seems to be a rare example of the proper type of Christian, who seems to truly respect Christian values, rather than just use them as a rationalization for his atrocities. Given his opponent, he’s an easy choice.
