and it’s for the same reason as egg actually! if you try to clean it with water above body temp, the proteins get all unraveled and bond together. just like a scalp mask with raw egg, it’ll cook into your hair and be a HUGE pain to get rid of.
i recommend cooler water and soap/shampoo, and then a second pass with hot water and maybe more soap to flush out any stragglers.
