    Digging deeper into the numbers, EREVs were the fastest growing technology, going up by 52% to 116,000 units, or 11% of plugin sales, while PHEVs grew 32% YoY (29% share of plugins) and BEVs grew 23% (59% share of plugins).

    What are EREVs supposed to be? Seems like a new name for plugin hybrids.

      Seems like EREVs have some kind of engine that does not power the drivetrain, but instead charge the battery in order to provide extended range (hence the name).

      So a bit different from a regular PHEV
