Good. I hope they suffer. Stupidity, especially willful stupidity, should absolutely come with consequence.

One time an acquaintenance told me that they were drinking raw milk and that it was very expensive.

Later, I relayed this story to my wife who scowled and said, “Gross. When I was a kid [dirt poor in the rural USA], we would buy raw milk from the dairy farm down the road because it was cheap. I would never drink that stuff again.”

Becoming a fad pretty much drives up the price of anything. So if you’re drinking raw milk, you’re playing Russian Roulette with bacteria while getting ripped of.
