    I love that this guy talks about his 30’s like most people talk about their late teens/early 20’s.

    And his dance around framing this sounds like a lawyer advised him, “don’t say anything, but if you do, stay vague like this and deny deny deny”. Although, the “OK, sure I might have “dated” and bought gifts for girls that were underage, some maybe I never even interacted with other than them asking out of the blue for money/gifts” seems both sad/bad way to explain it away.

      He’s also 42. There’s a huge difference between someone looking back on their thirties with enough time and distance to realize that they weren’t as mature as they thought and someone defending themselves by saying that they used to be immature…three whole years ago!

      Yeah, at 30, I already had a wife, kid, a regular career, and was pretty much set on maintaining a stable lifestyle for the rest of my life. He must have had the mentality of a five year old at 18.
