From the article, three episodes from season 1 are getting direct sequel episodes:

The big reveal came at the Star Wars Celebration event in Tokyo, in a panel dedicated to the hit show, where Visions executive producer James Waugh confirmed that three of the most popular storylines from the first season of the show — “The Duel,” “The Village Bride” and “The Ninth Jedi” — will be continuing in the upcoming third volume of episodes.

Additionally, “The Ninth Jedi” is getting a dedicated series coming out in 2026:

Waugh also revealed a “bold new direction” for Visions with the introduction of the Star Wars: Visions Presents banner, which he said would be giving filmmakers a chance to tell deeper and more longform stories without the constraints of the shorter runtime of the typical Visions episodes. First up will be a spinoff standalone series of “The Ninth Jedi” which will come out sometime in 2026.

Somehow, with everything else going on, we’re in one of the best timelines for Star Wars.

If you aren’t familiar with this series, the first season of Visions was an anthology series in which anime studios were allowed to create a single episode Star Wars story about basically whatever the hell they wanted. It didn’t strictly stick to the established canon, instead it was allowed to play fast and loose for the purpose of storytelling and just being cool as hell.

Season 2 was primarily made by a collection of international studios (not in Japan) and isn’t usually considered anime. Accordingly, it doesn’t have an entry on MAL or AniList.

I have previously posted a clip from one of the episodes that is getting a direct sequel episode this coming season, The Duel over here (direct video link). The other two episodes getting direct sequels in the Fall are two of my favorites. If you want any other recommendations from the first season, I would recommend the two episodes by Studio Trigger: The Twins (episode 3) and The Elder (episode 7).

      Adding my recommendations (just because):

      • Tattoine Rhapsody (episode 2): K-On! if Hokago Tea time was employed by Jabba the Hutt.
      • The Village Bride (episode 4): Like an mix of an TNG episode and the Eupha arc in Metaphor:RePhantazio
      • Lop and Ocho (episode 8): Star Wars coded Family drama. The best episode in my opinion.
