It’s still useful though. As long as they can’t agree on specifics, the garbage won’t make it through Congress. If they increase cuts to Medicare, then maybe moderates oppose it (or at least GOP members in purple districts) and it still doesn’t get through… Maybe. If it does at that point, midterms will be a blood bath.

Midterms will only be a bloodbath if the Democrats improve, but they’re fighting hard to stay the way they are.
