      Did you see the clip? It seems like an overreaction to me, he was slowing down but just happened to make the pass in the process. It’s honestly not THAT egregious IMO

        As soon as he saw the reds he should have slowed down, even if he is midway around one corner of a corner combination. Because he did not know whether a few meters ahead a crashed car might block the entire track.

        Oh it is, it’s one of the most dangerous things a driver can do. That’s why it is always a significant penalty regardless of excuse.
