Also, do all Slavic accents sound to you in a roughly Melania-esque manner, or do you perceive some finer distinctions among them? For instance, below are clips of a Ukrainian, Polish, and Serbian girl, and I’m wondering whether some of those sound more pleasant (and/or non-Melania-esque) to you than the others:
Neutral and I pray for the same when I speak other languages.
While there are a lot of differences based on region, it seems like where and how they learned English goes a long way to their accent too.
neutral as far as accents go.
why does this have such a low score lol
Probably because it’s likely some douchenozzle trying to nail down the perfect AI voice for whatever slop he’s gonna try to sell.
The prostitute isn’t allowed to speak, get real. Normal US people have heard her talk maybe twice in the last decade.
In the US, we don’t have the negative stereotypes about the Eastern European immigrants that the English do. It’s rare for Eastern Europeans to come here, but when they do they are generally kind and considerate neighbors.
I am not native English speaker but the first two sound pretty nice, almost close to native? The last one gives off the slavic accent at the very beginning. All of them sound okay and don’t have the ridiculous accent of slavs you see in movies and films.
I love a girl with a Polish/Ukrainian accent. It can melt my heart
I’ve never listened to her speak but I did really like What We Do in the Shadows.
