Bill was introduced too late, killed on Jan 3rd 2025 as it still hadn’t reached the senate floor by presidential turnover. Certainly feels like it was on purpose. It’s not like senators don’t know how long bills take to pass.

Yeah for the last two there, the filibuster is the culprit. But Democrats also had the opportunity to get rid of it with Biden and didn’t. So then you deal with it, keep bringing the bill on the floor till you get cloture.
But at least they don’t try to set everything on fire. Still the better option. But still not great.
Manchin might have a (D) next to his name, but he’s always been a republican in spirit. He cheered hard for Trump. Only reason the party accepts him is that no real democrat is gonna win west Virginia and they need every seat they can get in order to have a majority
Essentially the entire system is bullshit and while the democrats are ineffective, I’m not sure they’re always ineffective on purpose.
Sounds like you’re blaming the party on one-two D votes for the bills failing, while ignoring the entire arsonist party that enabled those singular votes to break them.
