“I don’t care what she said,” Trump told reporters. In his view, Iran was “very close” to having a nuclear bomb.

This shit happened (and is still happening) on Reddit all the time, it’s like there will always be a sizeable population that doesn’t understand the concept of context and how replies to a thread are never standalone but always within the ongoing context of the thread. If they want to make a standalone comment, make a separate comment thread. But somehow that’s too advanced of a concept for them to grasp.
