We let Doctors - in the form of Medical School Admissions Boards - constrict the supply of doctors to keep it so they can make $350,000 per year working a three day week.

They use out public universities to do this

    Why do we let them?

Conversely their workplaces are owned by some of the scummiest companies on the planet, and pressured to do more and more with less and less every quarter.

On top of incurring insane levels of medical debt.

The real problem is the AMA which jealously controls residency spots. There’s a bunch of well trained doctors in the country who can’t get residency spots and can’t practice medicine.

Surely AI will meet the need of additional surgeons, by training surgery robots to perform some surgeries?

No, we’re in the timeline where AI is training to perfect customer service chatbots to deny you medical coverage.

They’re going to have a shortage of anyone with a brain because nobody with one would embark on a career in that economic and social cesspool.

I was going to say, can you imagine the gauntlets they will be thrown down in 10+ years to have access to a surgeon?
