Some jokes don’t land when written, and the real solution wasn’t invented this decade. My personal policy is that if the joke needs a laugh track, a rimshot, or any big sign that says “Joke” being waved, the joke doesn’t work.

Comedians have been using the written word for eons. Some jokes don’t land when written, and the real solution wasn’t invented this decade.
