Having grown up with religion and also having studied history, I am decidedly not fine with most major religions. They’re a tool for control, regardless of what little hope it might give some people who should probably go to therapy instead of church.
Christian nationalism has been the history of Christianity since the Roman Empire.
Out of the 5 largest world religions, Christianity and Islam are by far the most imperialist (though Judaism is making quite the run now). Christianity has arguably had the largest negative impact via colonialism and the Atlantic slave trade.
There are multiple passages within the religious texts of Abrahamic faiths that endorse slavery.
I’m fine with Christianity. Christian Nationalism is not Christianity.
