No visual mode (selections), you also can’t immediately see the results of your changes - if you use the c$ command, for example, the rest of the line won’t disappear.

These days the
vicommand on your machine is almost definitely actually vim just running in a mode with limited features to emulate vi.yeah I did not feel they are very different and most of what I do in vim is like I use vi. I mean granted I do usually use vim.
