    I assume sinema has secured herself a lobbyist job when her term ends, and can now earn more money than she did in Congress.

      She can’t be a lobbyist, because nobody in Washington trusts her. You can’t lobby if you don’t have any pull. More likely she’ll end up as the token “totes not a Republican I just regurgitate all the Republican talking points” contributor gig on Fox or one of the other right-wing media channels.

        That, and she was quoted in Romney’s book (insert salt grain) saying she didn’t care about reelection because she was already elected and could go sit on any board she wanted or become a university president. She was always just in it for the money and status.

      Of course it will pay more than Congress because Congress doesn’t pay well. It’s about power more than money.

        Congress is one of the best paid gigs in the world if you take advantage of their “it’s not against the law for us to insider trade.”
