New to the fediverse and to Lemmy/Piefed, and I’d like some fun and interesting communities to follow, I’m finding plenty naturally as I explore the various servers, but I thought why not ask you guys what some of your favourites are?
So here goes: What are YOUR favourite communities? Can be big or small, active or inactive, and can be about any subject, I just wanna know your personal favourites.
[email protected] is lovely if you like birds!
[email protected] is pretty active.
I’d argue ‘laudibly active,’ typically involving multiple posts per day, usually with extra info as a comment. Can’t really ask for more!
The various comics communities are fun IMO. Some fine people making sure various dailies and small collections are shared, every day.
PugJesus carries the history threadiverse communities and they’re a saint for it ❤️

Not always the most active but a hobby I enjoy and a cause I fully believe in.
I’m doing everything I can to keep [email protected] active. But I focus on cyberpunk as a genre of fiction and avoid news about our actual everyday dystopia, so that makes it hard to consistently post something.
Also, [email protected] and [email protected] . Doing my part to fight against the flood of news posts on Lemmy with wacky genre stuff.
I like playing games like Wordle in [email protected]
I always enjoy femcel meme community.
[email protected] is one I never post to, am not subscribed to, but I can’t help but read the post. It’s the Primitive Technology of lemmy for me
