50 upvotes. Comment actually based on real data that happens to show that the original premise is actually wrong: 0 upvotes. Why is Lemmy exactly like Reddit? I thought people coming here were a bit more aware of ideologies etc.
How do you access deleted or never made comments? The local mods are still there.
As much as I want to agree, there is not a big difference. You can switch to different subreddits the same as instances here. In both cases you will lose out on a lot of stuff and only if lots of people do it would it actually work. But then sometime happens in that new place and another group of people leaves. So you end up with 10 different pockets that are all too small to be relevant… great. You need to compromise is what it boils down to. But how much? Very hard question.
Why use many words when few none do trick?
The “n” would be half a page with a story drawn into it. The “oodle soup with ravioli” would be easy to miss.

I say that could be sad because not laughing is like nit eating tasty stuff. Not feeling nice things. A whole dimension of positive stuff simply missing. But specifically about the topic of feeling and lack of laughing is, more or less, sadness.

The average is exactly one value and nobody has exactly that value. Since average~mean 50 % are below and 50 % above average.
What you are talking about is a range that is around the average, specifically one standard deviation (=15 points) around the average/mean value, which is a completely arbitrary range and I do not know why you assign “average” to this range. 90 to 109 is a range I know to be attributed “average”, still arbitrary, but at least an actually established range.
