It’s an older expression I’ve never really understood or liked, but here you go (help from gemini)

“” The expression “It’s a gas” likely originated from Irish slang, where “gas” meant “a joke” or “something frivolous”. This usage gained traction in the 1920s and 1930s within the African American community during the Jazz Age, and James Baldwin used it in print in 1957. It was further popularized by the hippie movement in the 1960s.

          Here’s a more detailed breakdown:

Irish Slang: The earliest documented use of “gas” to mean “joke” or “frivolity” is in Irish slang, appearing in print by James Joyce in 1914.

Jazz Age: This usage of “gas” spread within the African American community during the Jazz Age of the 1920s and 1930s.

James Baldwin: The phrase “It’s a gas” appeared in print for the first time in 1957 in a short story by James Baldwin.

Hippie Movement: The expression was further popularized by the hippie movement of the 1960s.

I do have two paid services that may be able to help.

The first is $5 for Eyebleach or $15 for removal of the eyes. You’d be surprised at how many go for the first one.

$120. Apparently the CRA wants some money back they shouldn’t have given me and I don’t have it, but I’d be more than glad to make an exchange…

Somehow the grainy bj pov pic is the most disturbing.

Feels like I’m the cellar in silence of the lambs

Sorry, I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use that gif.

So, do I have access to other gifs? Oh 100%. I favor Star Trek gifs more than anything else.

              However.

I made all the Spader gifs in this thread. I made about 100 GIFs of the first 3 episodes of The Blacklist. Why? Because I like the show but everytime I go to find a gif they’re all really low resolution, super low framerate, awkward text or there are just barely any. So I said fuck it and took it upon myself to make some. Slapped them All up on Tenor and toss more in every now and again. Also working on GIFs from some other shows too as well as a big Star Trek project. Granted the first few GIFs I uploaded are WAY WORSE than the latest ones (and still issues even then) but meh. I’m making them for myself and they’ll get better anyway.

I liked that show before I realized it was another blue-balls Lost situation where they keep edging you along and never give you any real closure. But I still watched damn near all of it because James Spader is the fucking man.

I’m not sure what you mean. The writing was contrived but there was full closure on who Red was. The people running the show even said as much. Just an enormous amount of people watching the show refused to believe who Red actually was.
