Voting for what? If you keep voting D/R it will just be the same song and dance as the last 60 years.
🎶 SHUT THE FUCK UP 🎶
It’ll be different this time. They’re totally on our side.
Average Treatlerite.
Back in my day a beefy five layer was 89 cents. I could walk into a tacobell with 2 dollars and walk out full with some change
Now the average Taco Bell outing is $10-12 for me. And that’s if I only order the value menu stuff. It’s considerably cheaper than any other fast food option, but still too expensive.
Those damn security cameras
But you’d be hungry again in an hour after it went right through you.
I don’t think that part has changed.
I think you are thinking of Chinese food. Taco Bell sticks with you for a bit. Or at least it used to.
Or it will give you a malaise feeling, preventing you from eating the rest of the day.
My family has sworn off Subway after 3 footlongs and chips cost us FORTY-FIVE FUCKING DOLLARS recently. I can make sandwiches at home, assholes.
While they pay their employees absolutely nothing. Where the hell is the money going, because it’s certainly not going into quality ingredients.
A few years ago when I had to get a gym mat for my daughter, it was cheaper to cobble it together myself from twenty $5 footlongs. Nowadays I’m better off buying an actual gym mat!
Shareholder profits/401ks.
That’s EVERY major chain. They all deserve to burn in the hottest pits of hell now.
Fuck capitalism is the ideology of the heartless swarm…

Super telling that you assume the original post was from a lib
Why
It’s one of them non voters.

“You can take my freedom, but you will never take MY GORDITAAAA!!!”
- Good

Choose 2.
With food, choose 1.
lmao, most fast food chains are none of that
The $20 dollar bill is the new $5 dollar bill.
50 is the new 20.
As in, today’s 50-year-olds can afford the lifestyle 20-year-olds could afford a couple generations ago.

Yo back in 1982, rappers bragged about driving big cars and spending 10 dollar bills.
$10
I’m blown away at how fast food companies are still operating with these prices. At that price point I can get an awesome meal with better quality.
“First they took the Baja sauce away and I did nothing”
I was very upset when they got rid of Verde sauce. But then they replaced it with a better one that has avocado in it so I stopped caring. Just wish they didn’t charge 25¢ each for it…
You can buy the Verde sauce in grocery stores.
For me, none of their grocery store sauces taste like they do on the items from the drive thru. I don’t think they’re the same sauces, honestly.
I was very unhappy when they discontinued Baja Gordita/Chalupa Supremes. They were the superior flavor.
I would not be able to contain my rage if somebody said this in front of me
I’ve been keeping track of my own “Taco Bell Index” since tacos were 59¢.

Better than nothing, but just barely. The general election is past the point at which you can choose the progressive candidate. If you’re able to choose between a progressive and a fascist in the general, congrats, you’re in an area where progressives have been able to get enough support.
If your choice is between an establishment centrist and a fascist, yeah, please vote for the non-fascist, but your support to get a progessive on the ballot might’ve been fucking nice to have, yeah?
VOTE BLUE as the only option against fascism, but if you’re only voting in the general election, you are supporting fascism. Vote in the primary. Give your support outside of voting - canvassing, protesting, even standing up for progressivism online - whatever you can do.
By all means vote, but if you don’t want Taco Bell charging that much then stop buying at that price. You are also voting with your wallet. I don’t understand people complaining about how the prices of things are unacceptable while they demonstratively do accept them.
So like… don’t eat?
My bad I forgot Taco Bell is the only option for food
Like eat groceries
Because the prices of those don’t go up? By your logic, people shouldn’t buy anything that costs more than it used to.
Do you purposefully misinterpret one comment and then do the same when someone answers your question?
What is there to misinterpret?
if you don’t want Taco Bell charging that much then stop buying at that price. You are also voting with your wallet. I don’t understand people complaining about how the prices of things are unacceptable while they demonstratively do accept them
The comment I am responding to states that inflation is caused by consumers’ choice to keep buying. Thus, if one doesn’t want food to be expensive, one should not buy food, problem solved. What am I misunderstanding? Can you explain how can I make food cheaper by not buying it?
Second question. What happens after I voted with my wallet and now taco bell is cheaper again? Can I buy it then? Or will that make it expensive again?
So Taco Bell has a monopoly on food, yeah?
Are we 3 levels deep of you doing this on purpose now, or are you serious?
My grocery bill for good, fresh food, nothing processed, is $80/week. Just over 10 bucks a day. That’s for everything I eat in one week, except tap water.
No, because it’s always cheaper than eating out.
Fast food people are addicts. Addicts cannot be reasoned with.
That idea only works if there are cheaper options available or going without is possible. If there’s no place to get cheaper food you still have to eat. In my experience food is expensive everywhere.
Fast food should be the first thing you drop, it’s honestly sad that these companies aren’t dying out as their prices match actual restaurant price, for way worse quality (sometimes)
People who don’t have a lot of money tend also not to have time to cook delicious meals for themselves.
Fast food isn’t cheap, I could go out and get 1 meal for 15 - 20$, or i could buy a bunch of lunch meats, rice, beans, and noodles and live off that for a week to 2.
Can be delicious, probably better than MickieD’s, but damn do you u get a lot of it for your dollar.
Yeah I mean once they match actual restaurant pricing I stopped going to them in favor of getting much better quality restaurant food instead when choosing to eat out. It’s the easy answer if your going to be spending that kind of cash either way.
Tacobell makes zero sense. Like a Gordita Crunch is $6 by itself, but I can get a box with one, including a taco, burrito, and a side, with a drink for $7.
The Gordita should be like $3-$4 at most. It used to be a double decker taco was like $1.99 and a normal taco was like $1.69, so why buy a taco.
get a box with one, including a taco, burrito, and a side, with a drink for $7.
I do NOT understand the boxes, but I appreciate them.
My local store even offers cheesy/sour cream potatoes as the side.
I can buy in bulk and make it a bit cheaper. But I’d have to make a week’s worth, and I still can’t quite nail their pita bread.
Bundling is a form of price discrimination.
The anti-soda people deserve to pay more because they hate America
Meanwhile in France…
France doesn’t have a large population of the country jerking off their gun and ammo collection every night praying for a chance to use it.
The same population that was out shooting people during BLM protests are the same ones opposing action now.
You guys need to start shooting back.
Guess what? The same laws apply to you. What does the 2nd amendment say again?
